Medical Technology Awareness Week 2023
The focus for 2023:
The theme of this year’s Medical Technology Awareness Week is Patient Power and Improved Lives through MedTech.
The MTG recently released its landmark report on meaningful patient involvement, and its backlog report highlighting the importance of bringing the best medtech to every patient on the NHS.
This is now a chance to bring together NHS leaders, politicians, clinicians and patients to work together towards meaningful change under the Government’s new medtech strategy.

People who have benefited from medical technology also told their stories and recounted their experiences.
Technology on display included thoracic stents, heart valves, ICDs, pacemakers, insulin pumps, hip and knee replacement technology, vascular stents and balloons, woundcare products, and InVivo diagnostics.
