Medical Technology Awareness Week
Medical Technology Awareness Week is an annual event aimed at raising awareness of medical technology and issues patients have accessing the most appropriate medical technology.
As a focal point of the week’s events the Medical Technology Group brings together at parliament a range of stakeholders including parliamentarians, NHS representatives, clinicians, patients, patient groups, industry and other interested parties.
The Medical Technology Group is launching its new patient-focused campaign in 2020: Putting Patients First Week.
Commencing on the 14th September, the virtual activity week will centre on ensuring patients are able to access care on the NHS through a focus on three recommendations.
